Clam Dip
Clam dip is made with minced clams, sour cream, garlic, and other ingredients.
INGREDIENTS:
1 can (8 ounces) clams (minced or chopped coarsely)
1 clove garlic, cut in half or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
8 ounces sour cream or *8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoons or a dash of Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup mayonaise
1/2 tsp basil
2 Tsp clam juice
salt and pepper to taste
drop or two of Tabasco sauce (optional)
Mix all ingredients together. Add more or less clam juice depending on consistency that you want.
*If cream cheese is used, blend all ingredients except clams. Add clam last and blend coarsely.
