Pretty Yellow Cucumber Flower
All praise be to Allah SWT finally we have cucumber flowers!
The first time I saw a picture of the flower on the internet, I have been searching high and low for mine to appear. I love the brightness and delicateness of the flower. Somehow this picture reminds me of my marriage (blush...). I can imagine that the leaves are the protective arms of husband while I am the flower!
Our biggest tomato plant is also growing well. I'm so glad that I transplanted the seedling to this pot last month so that its roots have space to grow deep in the soil.
Our improved meyer's lemon tree is bearing lots of fruits in clusters now. When they are about the size of a marble, I will have to cut all but one in one cluster so that it will continue to bear fruits later.
All praise be to Allah SWT the patio garden is my sanctuary now. When I am not quilting I just love to hang out here to enjoy the beautiful sight.

I used to visit and revisit it a dozen times a day, and stand in deep contemplation over my vegetable progeny with a love that nobody could share or conceive of who had never taken part in the process of creation. It was one of the most bewitching sights in the world to observe a hill of beans thrusting aside the soil, or a rose of early peas just peeping forth sufficiently to trace a line of delicate green. ~Nathaniel Hawthorne, Mosses from and Old Manse
