Book: The New Self-Sufficient Gardener
I ordered the book 'The New Self-Sufficient Gardener' by John Seymour from Amazon.com after reading good reviews about it.
This afternoon it arrived and I can't put it down. This book is loaded with lots of comprehensive information and even color illustrations of vegetables commonly grown in North America.
I like the easy-to-read layout of the content and no-nonsense approach to gardening. It even included a chapter on how to raise chickens and rabbits for food.
Not that I am going to raise Niko, my pet rabbit, as food, but the book is definitely worth its price.
