"Green Things"

This past Wednesday's theme for the public library's preschool story time was about green things and St. Patrick's Day. Since kids are on spring break this week, the program had about 30-35 kids. I invited a friend and her 5 year old daughter to attend this program and they had a great time.

Mobile Craft: Jack and the Bean Stalk

Program Outline:
1. Read a story about the leprechaun and his pot of gold.
2. Show and tell about a live shamrock plant.
3. Read a poem about counting leaves of the shamrock.
4. Book: Go Away Big Green Monster
5. Book: Big Mouthed Frog
6. Book: Jack and the Bean Stalk
7. Craft: Jack and the Bean Stalk paper plate
