'Growing Chinese Vegetables' & 'The Ornamental Kitchen Garden'

I bought the book 'Growing Chinese Vegetables in your own backyard' by Geri Harrington at the Lehman's store in Ohio when I visited my dear sister last June. The book was on sale and I was surprised to see it sitting on the shelf. I grabbed it immediately before I let anyone else discover this gem and it is one of my favorite gardening books. Allah SWT willing husband will be helping me to plant a water garden with Water Lily and the information in this book will be most useful.


This morning the book 'The Ornamental Kitchen Garden' by Geoff Hamilton arrived from Amazon.com. After reading good reviews about it, I thought it may provide some useful information about planting fruits, flowers and vegetables in the same garden beds. All praise be to Allah SWT this book is exactly what I am looking for.


I am going to spend the rest of the day reading it and also show beautiful pictures of gardens in the book to daughter.
