A Quilt Blanket for DD2

It has been almost 6 months since I last quilted a blanket. Yesterday while husband took care of the kids, I sewed this quilt blanket as a gift for DD2. The fabric with cats used to be my pillow case. After using it for about 4 years, part of it start to be worn out and so I decided to recycle it as a quilt blanket. I love the whimsical drawings of thin and fat cats on this fabric. Allah SWT willing hopefully DD2 learns to take care of it when she is older. Who knows, maybe she can even hand it down to her children later.

While sewing the quilt blanket I watched two Taiwanese comedy dramas on YouTube, Romantic Princess and Hana Kimi. Today I am watching another Taiwanese comedy drama, Meteor Garden, on MySoJu.com. These comedy dramas are quite funny and the actors have quite good acting skills. I like the storyline because they talked about true friendship and to be diligent in everything that we do. They were broadcasted in Singapore a couple years ago, and I am sure my mother enjoyed watching them since she likes to watch comedy dramas too.
