Cyber Cafe in the Library?

Nowadays the trend in colleges, middle and high schools seems to be having a cyber cafe in the library where kids can hang out in comfortable chairs with a cup of drinks in their hands as they chat about the latest hot topics. This is a departure from the 'No Food, No Drink" traditional policy. If adults can go to Barnes and Noble bookstores and chill out with a ice blended drink, why can't kids do the same? My only concern is that kids might accidently spill their drinks on the carpet (when they get too excited on a topic or get rough with each other) and we have to rush to get the area cleaned before the stain sets in. Well, I cannot decide to what extent do we compromise on these guidelines in order to attract kids to come to the library. To be continued...
