Blog: Seeking Simplicity
I have been reading blogs by people who live without running water and electric heaters.
One of them is Seeking Simplicity http://simplicityfirst.wordpress.com
Summary of the blogger:
- works as an Assistant Professor in Graphic Design, teaches courses online
- husband works as a doctor in a city
- bought an Amish farmland
- uses wood furnace for heat and fetches water from a nearby spring
- homeschooling her 5 kids (ages 2-15)
I think I would love the challenge of the physical labor living on a farm. Now I am really thinking about moving to a farm. It will be lots of tears, sweat and hopefully not too much blood.
The best part? I have about one year to convince husband about my farming plan...
