Five Stones Game

When I was about seven or eight years old, my mother taught my sister and I how to make our triangular cloth bags with scrap cloth and green beans to play Five Stones.

'The objective of the game is to throw one of the 'stones' one at a time and sweeping another on the floor simultaneously catching the one you threw earlier on. This game continues to advance stages where the game gets complicated. ' - ThinkQuest

During my mother's childhood she would use real stones to play the game. I tried doing that once and Ouch!

Last night I started to make some to give away to friends who played this game when they were young, and also those who are new to this game.


I can't wait for my niece. Joanne, to come in June and play this game with her.
