Public Auction for Stolen Properties

On tonight's Nightline, I watched a report about a web site, PropertyRoom.com, that auctions off stolen properties for some of the major U.S. cities' police departments e.g. Los Angles in California.

According to the company's CEO, they auctioned off more items in 2008 due to the recession.

One of the stranger items ever sold on this auction site was a stolen Colonoscopy Machine .
