I am thankful for 2010

All praise be to Allah SWT, 2010 was a good year for us. I cannot be more thankful to Allah SWT for the many blessings that have been showered on us. It is true that when we count our blessings one by one, we are often surprised by how much we are blessed. Here are some of the highlights of the year.

January - Our lovely hens started laying eggs. Yummy!
February - My doula, Sr. Muneera, was a wonderful support during my last trimester. Sr. Norsofina pampered me with her yummy briyani.
March - Bought five quails from the animal farm.
April - We welcome DD2 into our family. My dear sister & niece came to stay with us for 4 days.
May - First harvest of vegetables from our vegetable garden.
June - Bought two Batam White Leghorn hens from the animal farm.
July - DD1 started nagging me to read to her every night. All praise be to Allah SWT!
August - Back to work as a Teacher's Assistant.
September - Celebrated Eid ul-Fitr with family.
October - Volunteered as a judge for the school science fair for grades 7 and 8.
November - My dear sister and her family came to visit us.
December - One week holiday to spend time with my precious girls.
