We are Survivors
One of my dear sister's best friend since secondary school, Z, has been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. She works as an accountant and has three young children.
We are praying that since it has been detected quite early, it is still curable. One of the teachers at the school where I work is a breast cancer survivor. All praise be to Allah SWT the cancer was detected at an early stage and she has not have a remission since her last treatment.
Although we are unable to visit Z in Singapore, she is in our thoughts and prayers. May Allah SWT make it easy for her to cope with the chemotherapy and exhaustion from the treatment.
