Movie: The Secret of Kells

http://getfilmschooled.com/
Overview: The Secret of Kells is a delightful piece of independent animation. Hand-drawn animations, inspired by the Book of Kells tell the story of a young boy and his journey to complete and protect the book. Visually, the film is stunning. Irish history buffs will enjoy the references to celtic mythology and midieval poems.

On Saturday, DD1 checked out this movie from the public library. We watched it yesterday morning and I am stunned by the beautiful graphic and amazing image composition in this movie. I love the plot and highly recommend this movie for the whole family to watch together. Here are more still images from the movie.
