Article: My Empire of Dirt

I just read an article, 'My Empire of Dirt', by Manny Howard about his experience growing vegetables, chickens and rabbits in his backyard in Brooklyn, New York.

He went through the good (lost 29 lbs), the bad (a tornado that damaged his mature crops, $11,000 spent on the farm and one unhappy wife) and the ugly part (fingers being sawed off in an accident and animal cannibalism) of gardening and raising animals. Very interesting and funny.
