Yummy Algerian Food
This week Sr. Angela invited daughter and I for lunch at her place. She lived in Algeria for one year after she got married and learned to cook authentic Algerian dishes from her mother-in-law. I was surprised to learn that many Algerian dishes are influences by French cooking since Algeria was occupied by France for many years. All praise be to Allah SWT daughter and I enjoyed the delicious rice with chicken, beef and salad. I will have to get Sr. Angela to teach me to cook this dish.
She also kindly shared some organic veggies that her neighbor gave her with us. The lettuce and onions smell so fresh and yummy. They are really difference from the store bought ones.
Thanks a bunch, Sr. Angela!
